Small Business Management (SBM)
Small Business Management is for your small business as it grows and develops. SBM will help business owners and managers that are stymied by day-to-day tasks that keep them working “at” their business instead of “on” their business. You will learn how to implement a plan for sound growth and expansion, better understanding of your financial statements, forecasting and inventory. Experience is the best teacher, and you will learn by class work, one-on-one counseling and peer mentorship. SBM members will meet once a month for a 3-hour class and then have their choice of private counseling in either the SBDC office or at their place of business. Session topics include:
• Oct. Business Strategy, Sustainability, Resiliency and Scalability
• Nov. Marketing, Customer Experience and Fulfillment
• Dec. Sales, Pricing, Partnering and Pipeline Management
• Jan. Budgeting, Accounting, Finance and Access
• Feb. Systems, Technologies and Information Management
• Mar. Human Resources and Human Capital Management
• Apr. Managing the Supply Chain, Distribution and Inventories
• May Operations, Quality and Risk Management
• Jun. Contracts Administration and Vendor Management to Capital
