Quickbooks for the Contractor

This is a four (4) session, in-person series designed for contractors on the use of Quickbooks. You will get an orientation of the software and learn how to navigate the QuickBooks Desktop – the most-used bookkeeping program for a small business.

You will also:

  • Create a company file
  • Set up and modify the Chart of Accounts
  • Enter check and deposit transactions
  • Record debit and credit card transactions
  • Track a job from estimate to invoice to receipt of payment
  • Produce change orders and run reports including job costing

Prior computer experience recommended. Suggested for users who are new to QuickBooks. Course offers CCB License holders 10 hours of Continuing Education credits required as part of your licensing in Oregon. Your instructor is available for no-cost one-on-one advising following the course.
