‘Check, please!' - Learn About the Restaurant Relief Grant
Join the Clatsop SBDC as we walk through how local business owners can take advantage of the pending financial relief (grants) that will be coming available with the new $28.6 billion Restaurant Revitalization Fund, established as part of the American Rescue Plan stimulus package passed by Congress last month. This fund will be administered by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and is expected to be open to owners of restaurants, bars, food carts, taprooms, and other food and beverage providers imminently.
This presentation and Q&A will be led by restauranteur, José Balcazar, a specialist advisor for the Oregon Small business Development Network. This workshop is free thanks to CARES Act Funding.
José has owned restaurants for more than 20 years and often works with clients who want to start food-related businesses. He has worked as a business advisor for SBDC for the past 12 years, is a member of the Oregon Restaurant COVID Assistance team and is leading the Latino outreach program for SBDC. He also serves as the SBDC's Veteran liaison, drawing from his own experience in the U.S. Army and currently in the Airforce.
