Starting a small business is no small undertaking – the hours are long, the paycheck uncertain, and each day seems to bring a whole new set of challenges and risks. However, being a business owner also offers incredible flexibility, the opportunity to be your own boss, and can create a path to building wealth in a way that a paycheck cannot.

We’ve assembled an exciting panel of visionary North Coast entrepreneurs who found the courage and displayed incredible perseverance to launch and grow successful businesses here on the North Coast. Led by SBDC Associate Director Jessica Newhall, we will dig into their stories of dreaming, funding, planning, launching, and overcoming challenges – gaining insight into what unique skills and resources each tapped into in order to build their business. This is a perfect opportunity for soon-to-be entrepreneurs, dreamers and those who are just passionate about small business to get a unique glimpse into the world of entrepreneurship.

Clatsop Community College SBDC workshops are not eligible for continuing education credits and we will not be able to issue any certificates of completion or provide similar statements or documentation.
