Topic: Business Accounting and Budget

Understanding your business' financial statements is the first step to taking control and making data-based decisions. But in order to do so, you need to first understand what they are, how to read them, and why they are important. In this session, we cover:

  • Basic accounting terminology
  • How to read the two key financial statements: Income Statement & Balance Sheet
  • How the numbers can be used to evaluate big-picture decision making

This session is part of Clatsop SBDC's Summer Small Business Boot Camp.
