ENHANCING YOUR LEADERSHIP SKILLS FOR MANAGING PEOPLE: Does your business depend on the talents and success of your employees? This class is designed so you can take a few hours to reflect upon yourself and identify your strengths as a leader and where you would like to enhance your skills in order to help your employees and business thrive. In this class, you will explore: • Why your leadership core values matter • Your leadership style and tips for transitioning to a situational leadership style • The power of emotional intelligence • How well you lead teams and tips for managing conflict • Your own leadership development goals and actions for follow up This class also includes two 1-on-1 leadership coaching sessions with the instructor and SBDC advisor, Karen Ramorino, to continue exploring and taking action on your specific leadership development goals. These two additional follow up sessions can be scheduled directly with Karen at a day and time that is convenient for the two of you. This class is designed for business owners and managers – anyone who is interested in taking action to improve their leadership approach to and influence on the people that they manage. The class is an in-person classroom format and includes self-assessment and reflection, and group feedback. The 1-on-1 coaching sessions are flexible on location and time.
