Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) Pre-Licensing Course This required pre-licensing course prepares individuals for obtaining a Construction Contractors Board (CCB) license in Oregon. The course covers critical topics essential for operating a successful construction business, including: • Oregon construction contractor laws and regulations • Contract law and Oregon construction lien law • Oregon building codes • Business structure selection • Bidding, estimating, and financial management • Scheduling and project management • Hiring and managing employees • Working with subcontractors • Tax fundamentals and job site safety • And more Course Details 📅 Dates: Friday, March 21, 2025 & Saturday, March 22, 2025 🕗 Time: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 💰 Tuition: $472.00 (Includes course textbook, a $78 value) 👨🏫 Instructors: Hugh Griffiths & Michael Sellers Important Information for Applicants • Applicants must obtain a CCB license within two years of passing the Oregon pre-license exam. • Registration Requirements: Individuals enrolling in the course must provide a valid government-issued photo ID from the following list: o Driver’s license o DMV-issued ID o Green card o Military ID o Passport No other forms of identification will be accepted. • Special Offer: A spouse or partner not seeking a contractor’s license may attend the course at no additional cost to assist with studying. Pre-Licensing Exam Information Upon completing the pre-licensing course, your information will be electronically submitted to the CCB/PSI database the next business day.
