Smart Start Your Business

Do you have a business idea but aren’t sure where to start? Whether your concept is still forming or you’re ready to take the next step, this dynamic three-hour workshop will help you explore your ideas from every angle and guide you through the foundational steps to launching a successful venture. During this interactive session, you'll gain a 360° perspective of your business idea and examine key questions such as: • Is there a demand for your product or service? • Can the business be financially viable? • Are you and your team the right people to bring this vision to life? • Does the business align with your personal and professional goals? • What rules, regulations, or licensing requirements apply to your business? You’ll also learn about funding options, essential marketing strategies, and the practical steps required to turn your concept into reality. Additional Details: • The $66 fee covers the entire business, regardless of the number of attendees. • Team members or business partners may attend at no additional charge. To register them, please call the SBDC at 541-956-7494 after registering the primary participant. • All participants will receive helpful worksheets and tools to begin building their business plans. • The workshop will be held at the RCC Small Business Development Center. After completing Smart Start, you can schedule one-on-one advising with an SBDC business advisor to help you continue developing your business plan and working toward your goals.
